Threading

How does it work?
It's done with a piece of thread. By knotting the thread and creating a trap, hairs are removed by the roots or closest to the roots. Threading is done for the eyebrows and face.

How long does it take to do the Eyebrows?
5 to 7 minutes.

Does it hurt?
It may sound painful, but threading is a lot less painful than waxing. Many of our clients say it hurts less than waxing and some say it does not hurt at all.

What are the benefits of Threading vs. Waxing?
Here are a few:

1. Threading does not peel a layer of skin.

2. The majority of our clients about 90% experience no redness or swelling. If redness or swelling occurs, it is gone within 30 minutes.

3. No irritation or bumps at all.

4. Hair does not grow back as fast, and hair re-growth is finer.

Waxing

What is waxing?
Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for two to eight weeks. Waxing is accomplished by spreading a wax combination thinly over the skin. A cloth or paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax along with the hair and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth.

What parts of body can be waxed?
Almost any area of the body can be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, abdomen and feet. If waxing is done regularly for several years, permanent hair reduction may be achieved.

What are the benefits of waxing?
It is an effective method to remove large amounts of hair at one time. It is a long-lasting method. Hair in waxed areas will not grow back for two to eight weeks. When hair is shaved or removed by depilatory cream, the hair is removed at the surface rather than the root. Within a few days, the hair can be seen at the surface.

How often it can be done?
Depending on individual's hair growth it can be done between 3-6 weeks.

Facial

What is facial?
Facial is a cosmetic treatment of the face, commonly involving a variety of skin treatments, including: steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, masks, peels, and massage.

What are the benefits of facial?
Facial is ultimately an indulgence that is also very relaxing. Furthermore, a facial allows you maintain a healthy and youthful looking skin.

Removes dirt particles embedded in the skin which cannot be removed by washing alone. Instead a facial removes particles by opening the pores and extracting the particles.

Improves blood circulation in the face with a facial massage and supplying oxygen and nutrients to skin's epidermis and dermis layers.

Generally we don't use all the facial muscles in daily routine and using the flexible muscles especially around the mouth against the rigid muscles develops early wrinkles. In a facial, all the facial muscles are massaged along with pressing the pressure points to relax the muscles.

How often should I get a facial?
Ideally, get a facial every four to six weeks because that�s how long it takes the skin to regenerate. Try to have a facial at least four times a year, as the season changes. You may need it more frequently if you are trying to clear up a case of acne, especially at the beginning.
